The AMC network brought the sixth season of the zombie drama Fear The Walking Dead to the screens of fans after several months of waiting, which kept fans in a state of anxiety.

As everyone knows, the production of the sixth season of Fear The Walking Dead was stopped in March as a result of the blockage generated by the coronavirus pandemic that is affecting the world.

After filming just 7 episodes of season 6 before the lockdown, the crew and cast of Fear The Walking Dead finally returned to the film set, in order to shoot the scenes for the second half of season 6 of the drama.

Recall that seasons 5 and 6 of Fear The Walking Dead were renewed during the San Diego Comic-Con event in July 2018 and 2019, respectively. However, during the virtual Comic-Con of 2020 no announcement was made about the renewal of the series.

In this regard, The Walking Dead showrunner Scott Gimple confirmed that Fear the Walking Dead season 7 is in the script stages at AMC. This is what the executive producer of Fear the Walking Dead told the Hollywood Reporter:

With these comments, the producer of Fear The Walking Dead confirmed that there will be a seventh season of AMC’s zombie drama series.
