The makers of the Netflix animated sitcom F is for family has announced a fifth and final season for the show on October, 2020. The series creators are Bill Burr and Michael Price and Gaumont International Television and Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Television are the producers for the same.

The writers announced the 5th season via a zoom call on 2nd October 2020. The image of which was shared on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

Further, the makers have also confirmed that the show has already begun pre-production.

On the upcoming season 5 co-creator of the show Michael Price quoted that, “So excited to come back for Season 5!”

Working on this show with the great Bill Burr, Vince Vaughn, and our amazing cast, writers, producers and crew has been the greatest joy of my life, and I’m thrilled that we get to do one more season with the Murphys.”

Also, Bill Burr who voices the character Francis “Frank” Murphy and is also the co-creator of the show quoted that, “I can not tell you how much fun I had doing that show. Writing those characters and [working with] all the voice-over actors. We’re going out with a bang”

Even though Netflix has announced a season 5 renewal for F is for family, the streaming giant has not put up any official announcement for its release date. However, we can predict that the show could release in mid or late 2021.

What Is The Show All About?

The animated series is mainly based on Bill Burr’s childhood memories. It highlights the daily life and happening of the Murphy family which is a middle-class Irish-American dysfunctional family in the 1970s. Grumpy disillusion 40-year-old man named Francis “Frank” Murphy is the main protagonist. He is a Korean war veteran and now works as a baggage handler at an airport. His family consists of his wife Sue and four children. Their family goes through various comic ups and downs giving the fact that their father is a disillusion patriarch and an ex-army man.
