A phrase that we often hear in the Karate Kid franchise is “Cobra Kai Never Die.” It seems like Cobra Kai has taken that mentality to heart. This is the 34-year-old sequel series. Season 3 of this reboot success is streaming now. With a storyline that leads to an epic conclusion, it’s never too late to start thinking about season 4. We are happy to announce that Season 4 of the reboot smash is in production.
Each season of Cobra Kai was different. This is something the creators said would be possible for at most a 5- to 6-season story arch. Season 1 introduced the characters to viewers (or, in certain cases, reintroduced). Season 2 expanded on those characters. Season 3 presented those characters in new situations and gave some background. Season 4 is still in development. But we know what we can expect. We will see Johnny Lawrence working with Daniel LaRusso.
Everyone who is a fan or has followed the first three seasons with Cobra Kai must be excited to see what else there is.
When will Cobra Kai Season 4 be released?
Season 4’s release date is unknown, though we can assume that it will drop around 2021. Season 3 was released on New Year’s Day. Jon Hurwitz, his co-creator, appeared to be thinking the same thing as a fan who asked him about it via Twitter.
He wrote that he didn’t know all the answers but he thought Season 4 would be out approximately one year after Season 3.
The show might return to its original spring release schedule. Remember, the original season of the show was filmed and meant to be released on YouTube. But they decided not to make it a scripted series, and Netflix has now claimed the show. After the release of the first two seasons in spring 2018, 2020 wasn’t able to continue with the same format.
Hayden Schlossberg was another co-creator of Cobra Kai. replied to a Twitter message from a user early in 2021 and said that he had already traveled to Atlanta with the team to start Season 4 production. Fans can be sure that the ball is already rolling and that there won’t be any delays.
We guess that Season 4 will arrive sometime between January and April 2022. For Cobra Kaifans: It appears like the worst COVID-19-induced production delay is over. All films and TV shows have resumed production with the implementation of health protocols including frequent testing, social distancing, mask-wearing, and frequent testing.
