During the Monday Night RAW broadcasts through the USA Network, superstar Edge managed to take a victory against Randy Orton in the central event of the day.
The post-Royal Rumble 2021 red show saw The Rated R Superstar taking on The Viper in a final chapter of the rivalry that began early last year. Both superstars engaged in extensive combat, very level and that could have been for either of them. In the dying moments, a distraction from Alexa Bliss allowed Edge to land a Spear for the victory on the count of three.
This week’s bout is Edge’s first on television since March 2011. His last televised matchup was a tag team heads-up in which he teamed up with Christian to defeat Brodus Clay and Alberto del Rio. The Rated R Superstar would participate in a pair of dark matches on SmackDown before his retirement match on WrestleMania XXVII, where he managed to retain the World Heavyweight Championship against El Patron.
Edge Hasn’t Revealed His Wrestlemania Rival
A few hours ago we saw The Rated R Superstar winning the battle royal of 30 male superstars that spearheaded the pay-per-view, Royal Rumble. The next day on RAW, Edge stated that he will not reveal his choice for the WrestleMania 37 main event. The winner of the battle royale can choose any of the company’s world champions for the great event that will take place on April 10 and 11 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
