Drifters is a British sitcom created by Jessica Knappett. The executive producers are Simon Wilson and Damon Beesley. Drifters released on network E4. The series has a 7.0 out of 10 on IMDb.

Unfortunately on Richard Herring’s Leicester Theatre Podcast, the show creator, Knappett, announced the cancellation of Drifters.

Cancellation Of Drifters Season 5?

The series had 0.5 million viewers per episode throughout its four seasons. Despite this, the show received mixed reviews. Accusations of an unrealistic approach to problems in life were thrown at the show. However, Knappett claims that most of the story is factual and self-experienced incidences. Some even went on to call the show sluggish and said the characters did not have strength.

All the criticism made E4 standby the show. Even though viewers expected the renewal earlier on. By 2019, E4 did not come to an absolute decision. Hence Knappett decided to cancel the show altogether.
