Dexter” is an American crime-thriller television series. The first season of the show was based upon Jeff Lindsay’s book, “Darkly Dreaming Dexter”. Lindsay’s popularity inspired other seasons.

In 2006, the show began airing. Showtime announced in April 2013 that the eighth season of Dexter would be it’s final. It was the most-watched season of all time. It is expected to debut in the latter part of 2021, although it has not yet been revealed.

Dexter Morgan faked his death in the finale. Now he will likely have to take on a new identity.

Two teasers have been shared by the production company for the show, which reveals that Dexter has taken on the name -Jim Lindsay.

Dexter Season 9: Production Is About To Wrap

Showtime surprised everyone with the announcement of the revival series in October 2020. It took several months for filming to begin for the ninth series. In early 2021, we learned that the rebooted series had moved from Miami to Oregon because Dexter was hiding in the frictional Iron Lake in New York. Hall revealed recently that the production is still in its fifth week, despite filming having begun early March.

As Hall stated that it would take five months to complete, we can assume that filming will end this month. Hall stated that they are currently filming a 10-hour movie. It means that the rebooted series would have two episodes less than the previous one.

Dexter Season 9: Release Date Announced

Dexter is currently at its production stage. It might take some weeks for it to be completed. According to reports, Showtime plans to release Dexter Season 9 sometime in fall 2021. We learned that Dexter will be premiering in North America on November 7, 2021. The ten-episode limited series will still be available in November in other countries.
