American television show Desus & Mero renew for another season on Showtime. The late-night talk show starring of course Desus Nice and The Kid Mero is coming back for Season 3. This is the first-ever late-night show on the network Showtime.
The show features the two co-hosts giving their take on today’s hot topics like politics, pop culture, music, sports and more. They also invite guests over regarding these topics and have a chat with them. Their past guest list includes ex-President Barack Obama, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the Beastie Boys, Dwayne Wade, Gabrielle Union and David Letterman. That was quite a heavy list, phew!
Production company Jax Media produced the show. The executive producers are Daniel Baker aka Desus Nice, Joel Martinez aka The Kid Mero, Victor Lopez, Tony Hernandez and Lilly Burns. Before this talk show, the duo had a web series on Complex TV by the name Desus vs Mero and another one on Viceland called Desus & Mero.

Release DateĀ
Showtime has announced Desus & Mero Season 3 premiere on 31st January 2021. The show goes on air at 11 p.m. ET/PT on Sundays and Thursdays.
Showtime had announced the renewal on November 21, 2019. But the pandemic affected their production. For a while, they even hosted the show from their homes.
Now that the restrictions have been eased for production houses, they are contemplating on coming back to the studio for shooting. Just before the pandemic started they bought a studio in New York City. Therefore Season 3 will most probably be shot in their new studio.
Reviews On The Show
Desus & Mero has been widely appreciated by all. Their quick wit and comic personalities bring a fresh take on all topics. No matter who the guest is, this duo is capable of running the show by themselves and still have us glued to our screens. What is more interesting is that they bring Black and Latino perspectives, a good different thing.
