Demon Slayer – Kimetsu to Yaiba is returning soon for its highly anticipated second season. However, the main question being asked by fans is whether or not it will get a recap arc. According to a new report, Demon Slayer season 2 won’t be starting with the Entertainment District arc-like was suggested by the trailers and other promotional spots. Instead, it will start with a recap arc from the Demon Slayer -Kimetsu No Yaiba- Movie: Mugen Train movie.
This movie was released in 2020 and broke records. It will give the audience a sense of what to expect in the second season. Demon Slayer season 2, which will be released in October 2021, is a sequel to the Mugen Train anime movie. It will take place in Yoshiwara’s red-light district.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Release Date On Netflix
As the year progresses, it seems less likely that season 2 will be released on Netflix in 2021. The possibility of the US streaming the season is not certain as there’s no release date for the Japanese version.
Nearly two years after its Japanese run, Season 1 of Demon Slayer was released on Netflix. We doubt that the wait will be nearly as long due to the show’s popularity on streamers but it will.
