Dead to Me season 3 starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini is in the works! Considering that the very first two seasons have been spring releases, Dead to me season 3 is coming to Netflix this spring, right? Nope!
The first two seasons of Dead to Me were released on Netflix in May 2019 and 2020, respectively. So, of course, were hoping to visit Dead to Me season 3 on Netflix in May 2021. Unfortunately, that is not going to be the case.
Dead to Me season 3 is happening; it is not canceled. It’ll be the final season of the Netflix first series, but it’s not coming to Netflix anytime soon.
Dead To Me Season 3 Release Date
Netflix has not declared the Dead to Me season 3 release date yet.
Dead to Me season 3 hasn’t started filming yet, according to reports. Production was supposed to start months before, but it appears that the pandemic has pushed back the start of filming a few times.
Filming starts in May and it will last through the summer.
If that is true, it is unlikely that Dead to Me season 3 is heading to Netflix in 2021. The show wasn’t on the list of shows coming later this year that Netflix named in its letter to shareholders. So, that is something.
Assuming that the series wraps creation in late summer, the oldest we’d see season 3 would be in around the holiday season. I don’t think Netflix is going to release Dead to Me season 3 during the holiday season, particularly with The Witcher season 2, You season 3, and much more large Netflix reveals on the road during this time.
At this point, it is looking like Dead to Me season 3 won’t be on Netflix till 2022. I’m guessing it’ll be ancient 2022, like February or even March 2022.
