There are few Netflix shows popular than Cobra Kai right now. Since the show moved over from YouTube, Cobra Kai has been one of the most-watched Netflix reveals.
Cobra Kai season 3 premiered on Netflix in January 2021, but before that, we know Netflix had arranged Cobra Kai season 4.
- Because the first two seasons were released in the spring, there appear to be a few fans who believed we would visit Cobra Kai season 4 that spring. Unfortunately, that will not be the case.
Cobra Kai Season 4 isn’t coming to Netflix in May 2021, however we do have a fairly good idea when Cobra Kai season 4 is coming to Netflix.
Cobra Kai Season 4 Release Date
Cobra Kai Season 4 is coming into Netflix in Q4 for 2021. Ted Sarandos said that from the Netflix Q1 earnings call.
For the first time in quite a while, we’re going to see two seasons of a Netflix series in a calendar year. That’s a fairly big deal, especially considering that we were planning to wait until 2022 to observe that the brand new season of the series up until Netflix declared that.
Cobra Kai Season 4 remains in production. Since that is true, we could pretty much rule out the October release date for the new season. That means, we’ll likely find the new season in November or December.
We need production to wrap by the end of May or the beginning of June to get Netflix to release the series in November. There just has to be enough time to create that release date happen.
Netflix could still push back the season until December 2021, and that’s what we think will occur anyway.
Seeing how big the show is, it makes complete sense to save it for a holiday release. We know we’re going to visit The Witcher season 2 and You season 3 about then, too.
For the time being, expect to watch Cobra Kai’s season 4 release date on Netflix in December 2021.
