Classroom of the Elite is an anime adapted from a Japanese light novel of the same name. The author of the novel is Shōgo Kinugasa and illustrator Shunsaku Tomose. The television adaptation was done by Aoi Akashiro.
Will There Be A Classroom Of The Elite Season 2?
Studio Lerche remained tight-lipped about the renewal of Classroom of the Elite Season 2. The first season did not perform well in Japan but was appreciated in the western world. However, out of the blue, an official trailer for season two was released. A video released under the disguise of the trailer of season 2. This was to judge the fanbase for the series. Although the anime does not have a release date announcement, there are less chances of it being renewed.
Release Date
There are no official date for the release of Classroom of the Elite Season 2. Lerche will take up the series when they have time for it. However, it is not on their top of a to-do list.
Plot
The Japanese government initiated the Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing School. This school’s main purpose is to pop out kids who will make a difference in the country’s future. The protagonist of the show is Kiyotaka Ayanokōji. He is a quiet and lonely boy. It is difficult for him to make friends. He would rather just be by himself. Things change when Suzune Horikita and Kikyō Kushida enter his life. They change his life for the better.
Season 2 most likely would pick on Kiyotaka’s past and upbringing. To show his struggle to become a better person. However, we are not sure about the storyline of Classroom of the Elite Season 2.
