Amazon studios have announced the renewal of the American drama series ‘Bosch’ for a final 7th season. The police procedural drama is developed by Eric Overmyer and produced by Amazon Studios and is based on the novels of Michael Connelly. The first season particularly is based on the novels City of Bones (2002), Echo Park (2006), and The Concrete Blonde (1994) which premiered on 6th February, 2014. Bosch is available for streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. The show has garnered a huge popularity with an IMDB rating of 8.4/10.

The Plot Of Bosch Season 7
Harry Bosch is a senior homicide detective with the LAPD who was previously working with the armed forces. The series narrates the story of the detective who is under trial for the murder of an alleged serial killer and at the same time investigating the gruesome murder of a thirteen year old boy whose bones were found in the woods.
In the second season, Bosch is restricted on performing his duties as detective but given to his workaholic nature manages to work in shifts while exchanging duties with other officers. While on an investigation of a murder, Bosch finds evidence leading to the death of his own mother who was killed. This angle creates a lot of distress for the detective which mixes his professional and personal life.
The 6th Season was as thrilling as the previous five seasons but did not come up with a closure and hence, the fans of the drama await a seventh season.
The Release Date Of Bosch Season 7
The team of the show on 13th February, 2020 announced the renewal of a final season via twitter. The production of which was supposed to begin earlier this year but due to the unforeseeable circumstances regarding Covid -19 crisis, the production was temporarily withheld.
In November 2020, it was revealed that production of the show was temporarily suspended for a week due to some crew members testing positive for Coronavirus.
Nevertheless, there are high speculations that the American police drama will drop its final season by mid-2021.
