The upcoming Canadian terror web series, Black Summer is based on Z Nation, written by Karl Schaefer and Craig Engler. The series is created by John Hyams and Karl Schaefer. The series was renewed for its second season in November 2019. It has a 6.4 rating on IMDb.

It’s available on Netflix Originals. The next season can be available on Netflix from Thursday on 17 June 2021. It also has 8 episodes. The running time of each episode is 20-44 minutes.

The main starring characters will be similar to the casting of season 1. Jaime King will be linking Rose, who’s a mother and separated from her daughter ahead of the deadliest days of a zombie apocalypse. Justin Chu Cary will be arriving as Julius James, who’s a criminal. Some new faces are joining this season.

The story portrays the atmosphere of terror and zombie apocalypse fiction. The zombie apocalypse began to attack in the shadow of summertime. Following six months of this apocalypse the direct character, Rose played by Jaime King is separated from her daughter named Anna.

She began to find her daughter on a harrowing trip.

She had been cast in a small group of refugees, situated in North America. She’s a courageous woman and overcomes tough situations too. She makes fast savage choices for the situation where it’s required. In this plot, we will get to determine how they overcome the deadly summer days and get back into the ordinary life they loved.
