Karl Schaefer and John Hyams’ Black Summer is finally back with a Brand New season. The series first aired in April 2019 using Jaime King starring in the lead character. The Netflix play includes a 78% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is adored by fans all over the globe.
The show revolves around Rose, a mother separated from her daughter in a zombie apocalypse. It reveals a team of special forces as they struggle for survival during the wildest hours of the apocalypse.
The most recent addition to the show is set to premiere next month on the 17th of June on Netflix and will have a total of 8 episodes, just like the previous season.
Yesterday Netflix also published the official trailer for its next season. The next season will see that the natives from the pilot period confronting harmful militias and scavengers in battle with the dead and desperate in the cold harsh winters. The trailer portrays the fear and doubt of living via a zombie apocalypse rather well.

It depicts the cold-blooded challenges, horrifying events,s and unsettling characters which the survivors might have to confront this season.
The core cast members would be reprising their roles this season. Including King as Rose, Justin Chu Cary as Julius James, Sal Velez Jr as William Velez, Kelsey Flower as Lance, and Christina Lee as Kyungsun. Barbara Watson, Edison Morales, and Erika Hau are also seen playing Walsh, Manny, and Carmen respectively.
Though we don’t have the official record however, other new faces are also expected to join the cast this time.
