• A confirmed match during Monday Night RAW broadcasts through USA Network
  • The champions will defend their titles for the first time since their victory at WWE TLC

During the Monday Night RAW broadcasts via USA Network, it has been confirmed that superstars Charlotte Flair and Asuka will appear on the next episode of Friday Night SmackDown this Friday.

In one of the commercial breaks, WWE reminded us of the special that SmackDown will broadcast on Christmas night. In addition to the already confirmed Steel Cage Match for the Universal Championship and the Intercontinental Championship match, the company has announced the special participation of RAW superstars Asuka and Charlotte Flair.

Both competitors won the Women’s Couples Championships last night at TLC 2020. The RAW women’s champion and newcomer toppled Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax to win the titles for the second and first time respectively. Charlotte and Asuka will defend the Tag Team Championships for the first time on the special episode of SmackDown. WWE has yet to announce the pair that will face the newly crowned champions.

Friday Night SmackDown will air on December 25 from the Tropicana Field Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. Fans will be able to watch the show on FOX. Let’s remember that WWE will make the recordings of the next episode this Tuesday, December 22, and they can be witnessed live by those who requested their place in the Thunderdome.
