American Horror Story: Double Feature Cast
The Double Feature cast will feature Loads of familiar faces in the American Horror Story universe: Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, Billie Lourd, Angelica Ross, Finn Wittrock, Leslie Grossman, along with Denis O’Hare are part of the ensemble cast. Actor Frances Conroy joined the cast later, replacing Kathy Bates in a role after the routine Murphy collaborator had to drop out because of health concerns. Regarding newcomers, Spencer Novich and model Kaia Garber are also joining the fold.
However, the most surprising casting news is the inclusion of Macaulay Culkin, whom Murphy informed E! News will embody a”very, very great insane part” in the new year. “I advised [Macaulay] the personality and I told him he’s mad, erotic sex with Kathy Bates and can other things. And he paused and he goes, ‘This sounds like the function I was born to perform,”’ Murphy added.
Bates’ character will now be played by Conroy, needless to say, but enthusiasts will have to tune in to see what that whole storyline is about.
What Is American Horror Story: Double Feature’s Plot?
The storyline and setting of American Horror Story: Double Feature still hasn’t been formally verified. However, Murphy shared a picture in March using the caption”Things are beginning to wash up on shore…,” indicating the series will have a beachfront setting this time around. Afterward, Murphy verified that Double Feature is going to be made up of two mini-series, describing the installments as”two horrifying stories. . .one from the sea [and] one by the sand.”
As a consequence of the show’s filming place, Provincetown, Massachusetts, there are theories Double Feature may be associated with a real-life situation known as the”Lady of the Dunes,” an unsolved murder from 1974 in which the body of a decapitated woman washed up on shore in the region.
American Horror Story: Double Feature will see show regulars Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Lily Rabe, Billie Lourd, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, Angelica Ross along with Finn Wittrock return. Home Alone actor Macaulay Culkin has joined as Mickey, while contortionist Spencer Novich may also play some part.
