During the transmission of Genesis 2021 through IMPACT Plus and FITE TV, the tournament for the Super X Cup was held where Ace Austin was crowned as the great winner of this edition.

The tournament featured eight participants: Suicide,

Ace Austin, Daivari, Cousin Jake, Tre Lamar, Crazzy Steve, KC Navarro, and Blake Christian. The final was played between Ace Austin and Blake Christian in a very even match where both fighters played inside and outside the ring. Ace took advantage by hitting his rival and applying his move ‘The Fold’ to make the count of three and take the victory

Super X-Cup returned after a four-year absence.

The previous edition took place in 2017 and had a total of eight participants, who faced each other in a direct elimination format until a winner was crowned. On that occasion, Dezmond Xavier beat Taiji Ishimori to take the cup.
