Season 6 will be Lucifer’s final season’s shaping up to be a very emotional ending. This season, which was a huge success, featured the arrival of God (Dennis Haysbert), and Lucifer’s (Tom Ellis) job changes as he took over as the ruler of Heaven.
Lucifer season six will be a little different. With the Devil as the new God, there’s already guaranteed to be an adjustment period for Ellis’ smooth-talking nightclub owner. Showrunners of the series also suggested that there might be a fun mystery character, but he may have just been revealed in the latest teaser.
Official Lucifer social media accounts confirmed that Adam, the Adam and Eve star, will be appearing in season 6. This reveal was made at the end of a video that Lucifer dedicated to Dr. Linda Martin (Rachael Harms), Lucifer’s friend and therapist. Linda seems to be helping Adam to get over someone. She explains, “A common rule suggests a month per year you were together.” Linda then realizes who she is talking to when he asks Linda what “a million monthly” would mean. The trailer suggests that Adam (in Lucifer season 6) is still learning from Eve’s breakup. Eve has made a great move and is now in a new relationship with Mazikeen (Lesley Ann Brandt). A recent Lucifer season 6 video suggested that Eve and Maze are having problems with their relationship. Adam’s arrival will likely not help. Lucifer has so far depicted Adam in a humorous tone. It will be interesting to see how Adam settles in with the rest.
Adam is the latest Biblical character to appear in Lucifer. Last season introduced the aforementioned God as well as Lucifer’s twin brother Michael. Season 6 is the last season of the show, so now is the time to catch up with those Lucifer that you missed. Beyond the introduction of Adam, the final season will include an animated episode and a wily new angel interested in taking Lucifer’s job down in Hell. So Lucifer’s last 10 episodes have a lot to offer.
