Hi. This would be my goal: read some content from a file (for example a xx.txt or a yy.jpg, zz.gif etc)- encode the content in BASE64 - store the encoded content in a DB - get the content from the DB - decode the content - rebuild the object (text file, image, etc.).
I would like to use java mail stuff since it represent Sun standard. I have tried with MimeUtility.encode method but it seems to have effect only with text while with images has problems (not errors but bad encoding). Anyone could help me? Maybe with an example of correct use of this tools?
