I have Eclipse running on both Linux and Windows.

I noticed that Eclipse on Linux displays useful JavaDoc info/comments in a yellow box when you mouse over/hover on classes and methods in Java source code. I believe this feature is called "Show Tooltip Description". If you "Press 'F2' for focus.", more info will be shown, the yellow box becomes bigger.

My Eclipse on Windows does not seem to be able to extract JavaDoc info to display – the yellow box is rather empty. Where should I set it to work ?

It builds the javadoc automatically if it has the source in the Java Build Path of the project (right-click project, get Properties, Java Build Path, Libraries). Or, if you just have a binary jar, it can get the javadoc for its contents, if you have associated a source location, or a javadoc location, with the jar, in the Java Build Path page.
