Zack Snyder’s Justice League is the upcoming director’s cut of the 2017 superhero film ‘Justice League’. It is the fifth film of the DC Extended Universe and predicated on the DC Comics superhero team.


The show stars Ben Affleck (Bruce Wayne), Henry Cavill (Kal-El), Gal Gadot (Diana Prince), Ezra Miller (Barry Allen), Jason Momoa (Arthur Curry), and Ray Fisher (Victor Stone) and Ciarán Hinds (Steppenwolf). Plot Summary

Ensuing the death of Superman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Batman and Wonder Woman recruit the Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman to form Justice League. They protect the world from Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons, who seek three Mother Boxes.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be different from the theatrical ‘Justice League’. Although, the basic framework of the story is same, dozens of additional scenes, mythos, elements, backstories, new characters and teases of the upcoming films are present in Snyder’s version.

Snyder stated that his version of Justice League would not be alternation with Whedon’s version. Moreover, James Wan’s ‘Aquaman’ takes place after the Zack Snyder’s Justice League rather than the theatrical one.

In addition to this, Patty Jenkins worked with Zack Snyder to ensure ‘Wonder Woman’ maintained continuity with his film.

The release of Snyder’s version was driven by a petition signed by thousands of fans. Since the theatrical cut faced a difficult production and later on went through major changes. Consequently, right after the theatrical release, the demand for Snyder’s version rose through the support of cast and crew members.
