Young Royals season 2 plot
In the Young Royals season 1 finale, Wilhelm chooses royal love over royal duty: After a sex tape of Simon and Wilhelm is published online (by no other than August), Wilhelm publicly denies it to Simon, betraying Simon.
Simon hears him later explain to Simon that he hopes the two can start a secret love affair, but Simon is not satisfied and breaks off all ties.
However, the last episode shows that they still love each other despite Wilhelm’s decision to obey the queen and prioritize his role as Crown Prince.
The pair will also continue to attend Hillerska while students. So it remains to see if they will reunite.
The series would be renewed for a second season if it was. The plot may continue in the same place as season one, or even begin with the beginning of the term after the Christmas break.
Apart from Wilhelm and Simon’s relationships, the series would likely also deal with August’s fall-out.
