WWE will celebrate a new edition of Friday Night SmackDown tonight . The show will have a retro theme that little is known about, or at least it is what the company has been selling in recent days.
This afternoon, WWE has published a tweet in which you can see a video montage with images of the current superstars and the song “Rise Up”, a SmackDown classic that was used 15 years ago . In the video we can see the stars of today with the classic song, although the company has not revealed any more clues about what we will see tonight. You can watch the WWE montage video below.
We're taking it back to 2006…

So far, WWE has only announced one match for tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown show. Seth Rollins and Cesaro will meet in a WrestleMania rematch . Cesaro achieved victory in the fight that both disputed on the first day of the great event. A few days later, Cesaro broke in to challenge Roman Reigns, but Seth Rollins treacherously attacked him. Their current rivalry is rumored to end tonight or at best at WrestleMania Backlash, the next PPV event to be held on May 16.
Without The Famous Fist Of Smackdown
Sean Ross Sapp, a journalist from Fightful, has mentioned in the last hours on his Patreon program Fightful Select that tonight we will not see the return of the famous giant fist on the SmackDown stage. It is something that had been talked about a lot in recent days on social networks.
