As reported by journalist Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, he stated that Bo Dallas still has a contract with WWE but, for whatever reason, the company’s creative teams have not proposed anything for Bo to do in some of the company shows.

Bo Dallas is still under contract with WWE. But the creatives have nothing for him. Usually, when that happens, it is a bad sign. If they have no plans, I do not understand why they have not fired him and he continues to maintain a position in the company that, who knows, another superstar could be in his place. I have no idea how this will end, but it is a great mystery, said Dave Meltzer

Bo Dallas was last seen on a television show in November 2019. Before her absence, she was part of the Crown Jewel event on October 3, 2019, and a month earlier it would have been her last appearance on a weekly television show. At the end of that same year, Dallas reported that he was going to undertake an expedition that would change his life and upon his return, fans would see a version of him they had never seen.

In 2020, during the weekly NXT shows a series of videos were shown showing a superstar who would reach the gold and black mark at the NXT Takeover 31 events. Later WWE made it official that this mysterious fighter would be someone from the main roster and there was a lot of speculation with Bo Dallas. It finally turned out that Ember Moon was the person behind the videos and she returned to NXT.
