During the Friday Night SmackDown broadcasts via FOX, the return of superstar Seth Rollins has been announced in front of television cameras for next week.

After a surprise appearance at Royal Rumble 2021, The SmackDown Savior will have his first participation in the blue show in more than two months out. Seth Rollins entered the 29th position of the men’s battle royal and became part of the last five competitors standing. His elimination by Edge ultimately prevented him from capturing a title shot at WrestleMania.

Seth Rollins’ last major rivalry occurred against Rey Mysterio’s family. In the episodes leading up to Survivor Series, The Messiah was defeated for the last time against the masked man, as well as against his former disciple Murphy. His last participation occurred in the inter-promotional encounter of Survivor Series, where he chose to sacrifice by letting Sheamus eliminate him with a Brogue Kick from combat. It should be remembered that outside of the schedule Rollins chose to be absent to accompany his wife Becky Lynch in the last months of her pregnancy and the birth of their daughter.

The next episode of Friday Night SmackDown will take place on Friday, February 12, 2021, from the Tropicana Field Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. In addition to its transmission in the United States through FOX, fans will be able to be part of the virtual audience of the show through the ThunderDome system. WWE is expected to announce more matches and segments in the coming hours.
