Virgin River is an American romantic drama tv show based on the Virgin River books by Robyn Carr. The show has received positive critical acclamation. The show has introduced love triangles, violent relationships, drugs, murder, abandoned infant and despair.
The series blends all these into a soothing drama series with sudden turns and twists. The scenes are very soothing with hills, mountains, and rivers. The series follows the story of Melinda”Mel” Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) who is a nurse and a midwife. She moves into the very distant California town of the Virgin River following the death of her husband. She didn’t get a warm welcome by the locals. Melinda decides to depart when the locals give her a tough time getting accustomed to the surrounding.
However, when Melinda discovers a baby anonymously abandoned on the physician’s front porch she takes up her duty as a nurse and puts her thought of leaving apart. She then tries to learn how to heal herself until she can make Virgin River her home.
Virgin River Season 3 Expected Twists And Turns
Netflix has renewed Virgin River for Season 3 but no official release date was mentioned. Filming for the third season is underway. Season 2 ended with cliffhangers which have got the fans more excited about the new season that is expected to answer the unanswered questions of season 2 as well as bring in some fresh twists and play. It Looks like the Whole cast will return – Alexandra Breckenridge, Martin Henderson, Colin Lawrence, Lauren Hammersley, Tim Matheson, Annette O’Toole, Jenny Cooper, Grayson Gurnsey, Sarah Dugdale, and Benjamin Hollingsworth. Zibby Allen has also joined the cast as Jack’s sister, fun-loving lawyer Brie along with Stacey Farber and Jasmine Vega.
Fans are speculating that the new character Brie is going to bring in some significant complications. Brie might get together with Mike, who is Jack’s buddy as they’re a few from the novels. But it is also possible that Mike would be the real father of Charmaine’s twins. This could ruin the expected possible relationship between Mike and Brie. Additionally, since season 2 ended with two cliffhangers – Jack got taken and Doctor’s health dilemma – we could expect season 3 to show Jack’s fate and whether his relationship with Melinda has any better along with what is wrong with the physician’s health. Also, we could get to learn about Melinda’s last and why is it still haunting her.
