Virat Kohli is an Indian professional cricketer and the current captain of the men’s national team. A right-handed top-order batsman with his zealous and enthusiastic personality, he is regarded as one of the best batsmen in the modern era. The 32-year-old’s testament of success and prodigious batting are the numbers he has notched up, he has made 70 centuries in international cricket including 27 in Test cricket and 43 in One Day Internationals (ODIs).
Kohli made his Test debut against the West Indies in 2011, in Kingston, Jamaica, where he scored just 19 runs in the entire match. Fast forward a few months from that and in January 2012, he scored his first century in the format during the Australian tour. In the first Test of the Border–Gavaskar Trophy of 2014-15, he became only the fourth Indian batsman to ever score centuries in both innings of a Test match after scoring 115 and 141. During that series, Kohli was appointed as the captain of the Test team and became the first player to score centuries in each of his first three Test innings as the skipper. His high numbers never seemed to stop as in 2016, Kohli became the fifth player to score three or more double centuries in a calendar year. The following year, he repeated the extraordinary feat and also made a new record by becoming the first batsman to score four double centuries in consecutive Test series. He also became the first captain to score ten centuries in a calendar year in 2017. His highest ever Test score came in 2019 against South Africa, where he scored 254 runs.
Here is a list of all Test Centuries scored by Virat Kohli.
