This is a novel, which was available from December 25, 2015. The telecast of the anime show was hosted on the 11th of January, 2018 with the premiere of the actual movie arcade on the 6th of September, 2019, which was very recently. In this, we see the struggle of a war soldier trying to make a place and fit herself in society.

Although the directors have not actually posted or mentioned any releasing date sooner, they have released a teaser picture based on the genre of music. With the pandemic taking a toll, the release date which was supposed to be on the 24th of April, 2020 has been to some future date, which is yet to be announced.

In the cast we see Daisuke Namikawa playing the role of Gilbert Bougainvillea. Aya Endo playing Cattleya Baudelaire. The key role of Violet Evergarden is played by Yui Ishikawa. However, we also see Claudia Hodkins being played by Takehito Koyasu. Additionally, we see Haruka Tomatsu and Koki Uchiyama acting the roles of Iris Cannary and Benedict Blue.
Violet Evergarden Season 2 – Plot
The heart of the sorry is based on a “Memory Gee Car” which was used by Dr. Orlan. D, a scientist for his blind wife to help her write and edit books. This storyline was followed by a narrative. In the previous telecasts, we witnessed a brave soldier who had to replace her arms with prosthetic ones due to a violent war where she happens to lose them. She took up ghost-writing as her post-war life with the help of the Memory Gee Car. Her main motive was to find the meaning of the last words that a former commander, named Major Gilbert had told her. However, the final question that lingers in the minds of the audience is that who will she end up with before the story ends, will it be Gilbert or will it be someone else?
