It has been nearly 3 years since “Violet Evergarden” Season 1 hit on the screens and bewitched us with all the wonderful storyline. Produced by Kyoto Animation the first season earned a separate fan base.
After the first time, two movies were released under the same franchise in 2019 and 2020. But even that may not take away our anticipation for the second season.
The series was not canceled by the production house and hence we knew that a second season will surely be there. Since both the films have graced the displays, official sources have informed that the makers are in discussions for”Violet Evergarden” Season 2.

The adorable and soul-touching plotline of this anime series indeed makes it one of a kind. As the story sheds light on our central character who is an auto memory doll named “Violet Evergarden.”
In the first season, we saw the various colors of the doll starting from her past to life. She was created to help a blind woman in writing her autobiography. As we dug deeper into the show we found out that Violet was a war survivor, not as a sufferer but as a fighter.
Yes, our protagonist was a female soldier. Her journey was terrifying because she lost someone dear to her at the war. Although not apparent, the first season did show us that Major Gilbert meant a great deal to her. There was a scene in which we saw a badly injured significant Gilbert trying to communicate something to Violet.
Even though it was not given on which he said did he make it to the finish. So the next installment will finally reveal if Important Gilbert made it into the finish or did he just sacrifice his life in the war. If he is alive, will he ever come looking for her? What were his last words which Violet is still trying to decode?
