There are a fair likelihood that the whole original group of this Umbrella Academy was murdered while getting into the year 2019. This could be a fantastic fix to the issue Season 3 would have to confront.
The last episode of Season two revealed the team returning to their current day in the year 2019 and to their amazement, they discover that they don’t exist in this deadline and instead of The Umbrella Academy Reginald founded the Sparrow Academy.
The series is based on the comic book written by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá. The show first aired in February 2019 and was an instantaneous hit. The show was restored for another season due to it’s great achievement. Season 2 was released on Netflix in July 2020.
From The Umbrella Academy, Hargreeves are seven adopted siblings with a scientist and rich guy – Sir Reginald Hargreeves. These seven sisters were created under some mysterious conditions and were one of the complete 36 babies born.
Sir Reginald trained them to form the group as the children slowly developed superpowers. Regrettably, Reginald was unable to keep them together and they parted their ways slowly as time passes.
They reunited on the event of Reginald’s funeral so that they could halt the apocalypse from happening. They were unable to stop the apocalypse and could not save the world from it’s end. To protect themselves, they all had to go to a secure location and time.
Umbrella Academy Season 3: Original Academy
They found themselves united in Dallas in the year 1963 in season 2 after being separated as they all landed in various years ranging from 1960 and 1963. They were effective in stopping the apocalypse in the year 1963.
They were given a briefcase by The Commission so they may safely return to their gift that’s the year 2019. When they reached 2019, they learned that Reginald never died and neither did the apocalypse occurs.
Reginald is living and has rather founded the Sparrow Academy which too using a different pair of children. This contributes to the question of what did happen to them and so were they killed before the original group reached in 2019.
You can observe that every picture or string gets it’s own set of rules for time travel. It’s quite possible that they all were killed while travelling time. There’s a small possibility that Reginald did this as when he met these 7 children from the year 1963, they didn’t leave a good impression on him.
It’s possible that he killed them before they can destroy his plans. There are another chance too about their disappearance which Harlan who had been beneath an immense load of this academy might have murdered them. This solves a Whole Lot of problems for The Umbrella Academy Season 3.
