The dad and son movers at Move To Heaven are called to clean up some troubling scenes. They’re hired to clean up crime scenes along with the wake of a few deaths so upsetting nobody else wishes to confront them. They approach such tasks concerning your departed and attempt to deliver a sense of closure to people left behind.
Jeong-u, played with Ji Jin-hee frequently gets involved with clearing such last effects he attempts to determine what the deceased desired and, even if he could, set things straight. The movers start every cleanup by addressing people who perished, then combing through possessions, putting aside anything which may interest the heirs. These possessions are sent in a yellow box.
Get-ru, his son has Asperger’s syndrome. Produced by Tang Jun-sang, Geu-ru becomes easily upset if items aren’t in order and he is dependent on his dad to maintain that arrangement. But, Geu-ru has lots of strengths. He is great at remembering things, like the names and features of fish in the aquarium, the chemical makeup of rotten things, and tons of vague, but occasionally useful information the movers discover.
Jeong-u is an exemplary father, operating on his son’s limits and making the most of his strengths, but his untimely passing leaves Geu-run alone. That’s until his employee arrives. His uncle Sang-gu, performed with Lee Je-hoon, is fresh from jail and looking for ways of earning money without working too hard.
If he finds out that Jeong-u has requested him to become Geu-Ru’s protector, he initially balks but thinks how he would use the situation to his benefit. When he could spend three weeks living with Geu-run and functioning at Move To Heaven, he could turn into his nephew’s protector and get his hands on the cash set aside for Geu-run.
If Jeong-u was older and affectionate, Sang-gu behaves like a bratty toddler, which could force you to wonder about Jeong-u’s motives. Was he hoping that Sang-gu could help treat Geu-run or was he hoping Geu-run would help take good care of his uncle? Jeong-u is a guy who will be lovingly remembered, however, ex-con and ex-boxer Sang-gu has a very long way to go when he needs to redeem himself.
Get-u’s neighbor Na-moo, performed with Hong Seung-hee, is convinced that Sang-gu does not have what it takes to be a protector and labels along to watch on him.
Lee Je-hoon does a fantastic job of presenting Sang-gu as such a reprehensible character that he could only be likable, however, the spotlight belongs to Tang Jun-sang, whose pitch-perfect performance as Geu-ru enjoys the show. Tang is a comparative newcomer, having played with a North Korean soldier at Crash Landing On You along with a monk at the movie The King’s Letters, however, he magnetically draws attention to his performance at the 10-episode play Move To Heaven.
