The Boss Baby

The 2010 picture book of the same name is based on Boss Boy. In 2017, under DreamWorks Animation creation and distribution from Universal Pictures, it was first adapted into an animated film. With an IMDb rating of 6.3, the film received mixed reviews. And, despite earning $528 million at the box office, Rotten Tomatoes scored 53 percent. Boss Baby also got its Netflix sequel series and soon has an upcoming film sequel.

The first trailer for The Boss Baby: Family Enterprise, featuring another Boss Baby and a de-aging formula, presents many new characters and elements. The Boss Baby was released by Universal in 2017 to surprising success, as it grossed over $527 million worldwide. It told the tale of young Tim Templeton, who, before the birth of a baby brother, was the apple of his parents’ eyes. Little Ted, however, proved to be far from the ordinary infant, because he was BabyCorp’s highly intelligent and mature agent. Universal greenlit a sequel soon after its publication, although The Boss Baby was met with mixed reviews and confused responses from those unprepared to see Alec Baldwin voice a baby.
