‘Tacoma FD’ transpires in a firehouse in Tacoma, Washington. The firefighters are housed in Station 24. Though without many fires to extinguish, the firefighters are always ready to fight fires. However, they end up tackling the less- glamorous elements of the job.
Light on the inferno that needs extinguishing, the squad keeps itself entertained with friendly first responder rivalries, creative competition and bizarre emergency calls.
All in all, its firefighters battling their boredom. A blend of ‘fire’ and life in a sense!

Release Date
Since the second season proceeded to become successful than the intended first season, TruTV has renewed the series for a third season. The announcement was made on August 5, 2020.
However, Covid-19 lockdown has made certain locations inaccessible. Thus, changing the filming schedule. Season 3 would miss some of the familiar backgrounds earlier present in the episodes.
If all goes well, the filming would commence in the beginning of 2021. We can expect the release of the third season in the latter half of 2021. The season will have 13 half an hour episodes each.
