Stranger Things season 4 release date

Netflix hasn’t given us a date for Stranger Things season 4 yet, but the proof in the hand makes us believe we are seeking to ancient 2022, and as late as April.

David Harbour told Jimmy Kimmel Live that he believes the show”should be done” shooting in August. The normal quantity of post-production work (the gap from wrap to screen on season 3 was eight months) needed to get a visual effects-laced show such as Stranger Things, making us believe it’s not coming this year.

There is also the latest earnings announcement from Netflix. In a letter to investors, Netflix mentioned”We anticipate paid membership growth will re-accelerate at the next half of 2021 as we ramp into a very powerful back half slate with the yield of big hits like Sex Education, The Witcher, La Casa de Papel (aka Money Heist)You.” We’re betting Stranger Things season 4 is a big enough property that it would have made the record, was Netflix sure that it was coming that soon.

A word about a delay to 2022 was signaled by Finn Wolfhard, who told Fanmio who”Season 4… it ought to be out sometime next year, hopefully.”

Maya Hawke (Robin) told Collider that she is not”allowed to [reveal] if [they] finish filming,” therefore it seems Netflix wants to control every detail regarding creation. Nevertheless, she also noted that”because we had so long, the degree of effort, attention, and detail that [creators] the Duffer Brothers have had the opportunity to put into the scripts… as well as the celebrities [that ] have had the opportunity to think about their personalities — it is gonna be amazing.”

Considering the previous season’s launch dates — Season 1 arrived on July 15, 2016, the next season arrived on October 27, 2017, and the third period fell on July 4, 2019 — we see a difference of one or two years per season. Not a great deal to continue.

From the Before Times thought Stranger Things season 4 could arrive on Netflix as early as October 2020. But production grounded to a halt as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since filming has resumed, it’s more likely that time will arrive in summer or spring 2022.
