Netflix did renew Stranger Things for season 4 in 2019. It’s one of the most highly expected shows on Netflix. No official release date was announced and no official preview has been released yet. The third season ended with the killing of this beloved character Sheriff Jim Hopper, though Netflix has confirmed that the character will probably be back in season 4.
New set photos have been posted with the Twitter account @StrangerNews11. The photographs show a few characters hanging out in a graveyard – a funeral is happening. Fans will need to wait for a while before they can figure out whose funeral it is. According to Finn Wolfhard, the series is expected to return in 2022.
The pandemic has caused a delay in the release. Fans are excited to watch the new episodes as soon as possible.
