The Release Date Of Star Trek Discovery Season 4
Star Trek: Discovery will be returning with Season 4 as announced by stars Doug Jones and Sonequa Martin-Green in a video which was joined by co-showrunners Alex Kurtzman and Michelle Paradise.
Martin-Green said, “Oh my goodness, I am so excited to be back on set. Its going to be great to see everybody and really love each other. I’m so excited to be giving you a season four, and to watch season three. That’s what I’m really excited about.”
The direction of the fourth season began in January 2020 and the production was to begin from July 2020. But it got delayed due to Covid-19 and the production began on 2nd November, 2020 from Canada. The season will be released on CBS All Access in the United States and its most likely to release in the latter half of 2021.
The Plot Of Star Trek Discovery Season 4
The plot of the new season is firmly under wraps for now and is difficult to theories what lies around the next corner. In the latest instalment, the Discovery crew, along with some fresh faces, are attempting to rebuild the remains of the galaxy after it was hit by a cataclysmic event known as ‘The Burn’, which destroyed the Federation. No trailer can be expected anytime soon due to the delayed production.
The Cast Of Star Trek Discovery Season 4
The fans expect the previous season’s cast to get premiered in the upcoming season. In the season announcement video, the presence of Martin-Green and Jones is a quite strong indicator that they’ll be back as Michael Burnham and Saru. Along with them, the other cast members are most likely to make a return.
According to Kurtzman, the cast and other member have been tested three time a day because of Covid-19. The cast went to Toronto early and kept themselves for 14 days of quarantine. The shooting is expected to get finished on 10th June 2021.
The fans might have to wait till the end of 2021 to get a glimpse of this upcoming season of Star Trek.
