‘Solar Opposites’ is an American animated adult sitcom. It is created by Justin Roiland (co-creator of Rick and Morty) and Mike McMahan for Hulu. Originally, the show was created for Fox Broadcasting Company, but was shelved and later bought by Hulu.
The series aired on May 8, 2020 with the first season consisting of 8 episodes.

The main characters in the show are Korvo (Justin Roiland), Terry (Thomas Middleditch), Jesse (Mary Mack) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone). Guests include John R. Dilworth, John DiMaggio, Grey DeLisle, Jim Cummings and various others.

Plot
The story revolves around a quartet of aliens from a better place who must take refuge in Middle America. Alongside, they have a dog-baby-alien called Pupa. But for now, they have to decide whether this is awful for awesome.
Korvo is scientific-minded and generally disgusted by humanity. On the contrary, Terry is much more enamored with Earth culture. Furthermore, Yumyulack and Jesse attend high school and try to fit in. If only they weren’t constantly shrinking their classmates and storing them in a terrarium.
‘Solar Opposites’ is a fine blend of science fiction and boisterous fun. Indeed a satire.
On Rotten Tomatoes, the series has an approval rating of 90% based on 30 reviews. An average rating of 7.46/10. While on Metacritic, the show has a weighted average score of 72/100, based on reviews from 10 critics. Generally, favorable reviews.
Release Date
Initially, the series was ordered for two seasons totalling 16 episodes. However, on June 18, 2020, the series was renewed for a third season. ‘Solar Opposites’ season 2 is scheduled to premiere in 2021.
