The plot of this show is set in a world broken by the war-torn and can be ruined by the great darkness referred to as the ‘Shadow fold’. Crossing the shadow fold is not the smartest idea on account of the monsters swarming inside. Though, Alina Starkov arrises within this darkness with an opportunity to destroy in the form of a lowly mapmaker. Alina finds that she’s the Sun Summoner- an effective Grisha with the ability to muster mild.
Having been with an overwhelming response for season one, makes us expect for the second season. It would not be wrong to call the show that a young adult fantasy hit.
