British teenage comedy ‘Sex Education’ is under production and has announced its upcoming release date which has left fans “aroused” in the real sense (pun intended). Fans were over the top excited after the official twitter handle of Netflix Uk & Ireland shared the first behind the scenes photographs of the cast for season 3 on 9th September 2020.
This show is created by Laurie Nunn and its first episode aired on 11th January 2019 on Netflix. The series is a commercial and critical success with an IMDB rating of 8.3/10 and 97% on Rotten Tomatoes.
The Cast
The main cast of the show includes Asa Butterfield as Otis Milburn and Emma Mackey as Maeve Wiley. Other cast members include:

The plot
The story revolves around an insecure teenager name Otis Milbur whose mother is a sex therapist. He along with a classmate Maeve (who is an outcast bad girl) set up a sex advice business of their own at their school, helping teenagers answer sexual and sexuality related problems. Otis has a crush on Maeve but is too shy to reveal it to her as she was dating a high school hunk. In the end of season 1 Otis starts his first relationship with Ola to the dismay of a heart broken Maeve.
The Season 3, Otis has competition as his mother has been officially appointed in the school as a sex therapist. Students are divided between him and his mother for advice. Moreover, Otis breaks up with Ola and realizes his feels for Maeve are still intact. In the end when Otis confesses to his love for Maeve via voice message, the message is deleted by Maeve’s handicapped neighbor. Fans are desperately waiting for the incomplete love story of Otis and Maeve to come to conclusion as soon as possible in season 3, therefore, stakes are high for this season.
Sex Education Season 3
The show has an expected date of around January 2021. The actual production for Sex Education Season was supposed to begin back in May 2020, but the unfortunate pandemic affected it’s on schedule production date.
