The Netflix first Selena: The Series enlarged on what film watchers captured glimpses of in the star-making film dependent on the life of music star Selena Quintanilla.
The series, which premiered some 25 years after Selena’s passing, concentrates on her rise with attention given to her siblings Suzette and A.B. and their father Abraham. Her story was divided into different components, the first of which landed on Netflix on Dec. 4, 2020, and while the next took center stage on May 4, 2021.
If you are familiar with Selena’s story then you understand it’s a tragic end. But has the Netflix show reached its natural conclusion?
The Selena: The Series Part 3 Cast
The entire Quintanilla family would probably return, such as Gabriel Chavarria as A.B. Quintanilla, Ricardo Chavira as Abraham, Noemi Gonzalez as Suzette, and Seidy López as Marcella. Jesse Posey would also probably play a significant role as Selena’s husband Chris Pérez, and it is possible Christian Serratos would continue to appear as Selena in flashbacks.
What would Part 3 be about?
Suzette Quintanilla is among the executive producers on the show, so if there’s a Part 3, it will likely follow the Quintanilla’s as they cope with Selena’s death and work out the way to carry on her legacy.
This monitors Zamora’s bigger vision for the series: he advised Deadline that Selena is ultimately a story about the entire Quintanilla family. “We did so much research that there was plenty of storylines we wanted to comprise but we could not,” Zamora clarified. “It was very clear to us that it was a family play because she started so young.”
