Sacred Games has been a crime, thrilling, mysterious, Indian web series on NETFLIX, based on VIKRAM CHANDRA’S CCHANDRA’S novel.
The seasons of this web series was first released in 2018 and the final episode concluded in 2019, starring Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte, Pankaj Tripathi, Kalki Koechlin, Ranvir Shorey, directed by Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Neeraj Ghaywan, produced by Kelly Luegenbiehl, Erik Barmack, Vikramaditya Motwane.
It is one of the binge worthy Indian web series that has got a widespread success with its two successful seasons. The script plots about an inspector Sartaj Singh (Saif Ali Khan) who receives an anonymous phone call from the local goon, Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) who challenges him to save his city within 25 days. The season turns out to be a dangerous Tom and Jerry chase.
The first season follows Sartaj Singh trying to collect clues about Ganesh Gaitonde with the help of an officer Anjali Mathur and trying to get the connection between G. G and his father. The second season continues with Sartaj’s search of Gaitonde’s past which affects him in the present.
After the successful accomplishment of two seasons, the third season has been announced. The second season ended with a twist on a cliff, which left the audience hanging and craving for more.
Like the other two seasons, the third season is expected to have lots of mysteries to unfold. The star cast remains the same with a few more like Jatin Sarna, Neeraj Kabi, Jeetendra Joshi, and Rajshri Deshpande who are expected to represent the crime thriller. More additions to the star cast are yet to be revealed. The official release date is not decided because of the Covid outbreak and yet to be announced by the makers. The production is delayed due to the worldwide pandemic.
The third season is expected to have a good response from the onlookers like the other two seasons.
