Netflix’s Russian Doll is coming up with a season 2 soon. The first season aired on 1st February, 2019 and stars Natasha Lyonne as Nadia Vulvokov, Charlie Barnett as Alan Zaveri, Greta Lee as Maxine and Yul Vazquez as John Reyes. The makers of the show had already started filming when the pandemic hit in and the show’s shooting schedule came to a halt. However, fans have been desperately awaiting for the second season as the first one was a massive hit with a rating of 97% on Rotten tomatoes.

There is no official disclosure regarding the cast members or any new characters. As of now Natasha Lyonne and Charlie Barnett will resume their characters.

The Plot Of Russian Doll Season 2

The story of Russian doll revolves around the protagonist named Nadia, a software engineer and her 36th birthday celebration in New York City. On her birthday, she dies suddenly and then comes back to life and lives the same moments again and again and dies repeatedly on a time loop. Initially, Nadia assumes that she is hallucinating due to consuming a lot of  pot at her birthday party and she tries to find out her best friend Maxine’s dealer to figure out the substance. Later on, She come across Alan who falls from a high rise elevator. Nadia tracks him down so as to understand what is happening with her but he is skeptical to discuss anything. After a lot of pull and push Alan decides to help Nadia with the time loop issue. He concludes saying that they are being punished for being bad and try to fix their past deeds.

Finally, Nadia and Alan find pre-loop versions of themselves and are successful in preventing them from dying and they finally become friends.

The second season is highly anticipated as the audience is eager to know as to why Nadia and Alan had to go through these unbelievable time loops and will romance ever bloom between the pair?

The plot for the second season has not been disclosed yet.
