The Road Safety World Series started in Pune on March 11 last year, but the country suffered a lockdown due to the corona epidemic. In such a situation, the series was postponed after playing just four matches. Now the same series is being restarted, this time the tournament is being held in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh.
Last time a total of five teams participated in this tournament, but this time the number of teams has increased to six. However, the Australian team will not be part of the tournament this time, replacing Sri Lanka Legends. Also, the England Legends team is another new team in the tournament.
