Adult Swim has just released the fifth season Rick & Morty. Fans of the comedy-sci-fi series were quick to recall why they fell head over heels for it. The long wait paid off, as this fifth season is even better than its predecessors. This shows that the show isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
Being that the series is so popular, the question is no longer if a season 6 is coming to us, but when the highly-anticipated sixth season will be coming our way. We have the details on Ricky and Morty’s season 6.
Rick and Morty Season 6 to Release on?
Although it is difficult to predict the release day, there is hope that the 70-episodes will continue to be released one after the next. After the renewals of 70-episodes of Season 4, it took nearly two years for Season 4 to be released.
In a July 2020 interview Dan Harmon, the series creator stated that the writing group is finished with Season 5 and is now working on Season 6. He also stated that the aim is to keep the show on a steady basis.
This will allow Rick to look like a more traditional TV series. In this way, Rick and Morty Season 6 could unofficially be released in May 2022. Season 5’s premiere will come one year later.
You shouldn’t expect any teaser or trailer any time soon. The Season 4 trailer premiered one month prior. The trailer of Season 5 was released March 20, 2021, before it was due to be released on June 20, 2020.
Fans can anticipate an early animatic, if nothing so far so quickly, from Season 6, sometime in summer 2021. A full trailer of Season 6 will be released in the next two to three weeks.
Harmon and Justin Roiland, who are both co-creators and showrunners, find it difficult to understand the process.
Harmon was supposed to work on Season 5’s animatic. Season 6 was delayed. Harmon and his team have been working hard on both seasons’ finales.
Rick and Morty season 6 cast: Who’s coming back?
Rick And Morty work best when Ricky is there. Justin Roiland is certain to reprise the two main roles in season 6, but will anyone else be there?
Spencer Grammer is almost certain to reprise their roles as Summer Smith, Jerry, and Sarah Chalke. Chalke will likely be continuing to play Beth, as well as Space Beth, her perhaps-cloned counterpart.

Rick and Morty season 6 plot: What will it be about?
We are yet to know any details about season one, but we do hope that future stories will be more like Mortyplicity and less like Rickdependence Spray. It remains, perhaps, the dumbest episode yet of Rick & Morty.
What we do know is that a new spin-off based on the Vindicators is soon heading to Adult Swim. Supernova will appear alongside Vance Maximus. Crockpot. It will be set before the season three episode in which the team all died.
This episode will cross the line with Rick and Morty season 6. Possibly not, although it will be set in canon, which leaves the door open for crossovers in a way that the anime spin-offs don’t.
