The adult animated series Rick and Morty is all set to release a new season. The series is a science fiction animation created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon for Cartoon Network’s late-night programming block Adult Swim and was first aired on 2nd December, 2013. The show has garnered a huge fan base and recognition and has a rating of 9.2 on the IMDB’s website. The animated series is available for streaming in India exclusively on Netflix.

The Plot Of Rick And Morty Season 5
The story revolves around Rick Sanchez, who is an old alcoholic scientist of eccentric nature, and his grandson Morty Smith, who is a 14 year old good-hearted boy of fretful nature. The series also narrates the story of the Smith family that consists of parents Jerry and Beth and two children Morty and Summer and Beth’s father Rick Sanchez.
Rick along with his grandson Morty go on various adventures to different realities, dimensions and planets using many portals and Rick’s flying car. At each destination they go through rib tickling adventures and also meet different versions of themselves. That’s why rick call himself as “Rick Sanchez of Earth Dimension C-137″, in reference to his original universe so as to not confuse himself in the multiverse. Morty’s self-centric teenage sister also accompanies them on their adventures sometimes. Morty’s father is insecure about the adventures taken up by them and is an old fashioned man. He totally disapproves of Rick’s influence on the family. Whereas, Beth is a level headed horse surgeon and is dissatisfied with her marriage to Jerry.
The Release Date Of Rick And Morty Season 5
Season 5 of the animated comedy was announced by the makers in June 2020.
It is foreseen that Rick and Morty will return for a Season 5 by summer 2021.
