Rick And Morty Season 5 Cast
The major voice cast is coming back for season five. Justin Roiland will once again be voicing the main roles of Rick and Morty. Sarah Chalke will voice Beth, Chris Parnell voices Jerry, and Spencer’s Grammar gives voice-over to Summer.
Rick And Morty Season 5 Plot
Season 4 ended with the familiar Gromflomite Galctic Federation, Tammy Birdperson, and Dr. Wong. The appearance of a second Beth also known as ‘Space Beth’ was shocking. An episode in season three hinted at Beth’s clone but we are unsure which one is the clone. Beth is to feature in Season 5 for sure.
The Galactic Federation lost again(as if we could expect any other outcome). Some Gromflomites might build the empire again and try to cause havoc. Rick claimed back the Terminator-esque pieces of Phoenixperson. He felt that keeping it with him would feel like paying homage to Shaun of the Dead’s end.
Season four also ended with the separation of Rick from his family members. His family and the Beths both are enraged with his reckless attitude and dismissal of them. He admits that he is a terrible father in the last episode. Rick thinks of himself to be the god of the universe.
However, the show keeps on popping surprises on the viewers and changes our minds.
How Many Episodes Will Feature In Rick And Morty Season 5?
When the show renewed for a season four, they also stated 70 episodes up ahead. We heard that each season will still be 10 episodes long. They will ponder on increasing the number only if production catches up. Doing the math, we have 6 or more seasons to go for Rick and Morty.
Rick And Morty Season 5 Release Date
Fans of Rick and Morty have now developed endurance for the long duration between seasons. Between seasons three and four they took a break for 2 years. The first five episodes were released in November 2019 and the rest 5 released in April 2020.
Ever since then there is no news about a release date for season 5. When asked if the pandemic affected their production, they denied saying how effective it was becoming to hear every voice on the team.
If this is the case we would want to see Rick and Morty Season 5 air as soon as possible. However, May 2021 would seem a reasonable date.
