Sony’s Hotel Transylvania 4 will be coming sooner than expected.

The originally planned for a Dec. 22, 2021 release date, the animated movie has been moved up to Aug. 6 of next year.

The movie’s plot is now unknown, but it is safe to assume it is going to follow more of Dracula and his team’s goofy antics after they arrive home from the thrilling holiday that they shot in Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation.

The move is the latest adjustment Sony has had to make to its schedule to adapt to the reality of this coronavirus outbreak. With theatres closed for the near future, the studio has been made to change many of its major blockbusters, such as Uncharted, Morbius, Ghostbusters along with the untitled Spider-Man movie.

Resort Transylvania was a successful animated franchise for Sony, having grossed over $1.3 billion. The movies follow Dracula along with his group of fellow monsters as they deal with the challenges of the expanding families while running a monster resort.

While there has been no formal statement about the cast, expect the return of Adam Sandler (Dracula), Selena Gomez (Mavis), Andy Samberg (Johnny), Kevin James (Frankenstein), Fran Drescher (Eunice), Steve Buscemi (Wayne), David Spade (Griffin), Keegan-Michael Key (Murray), Molly Shannon (Wanda) and Kathryn Hahn (Ericka).
