In 2020, Netflix surprised and released Ragnarok, its version of Norse mythology.
Netflix’s Norwegian series, Ragnarok, is a mix of Norse mythology and climate change. She follows the life of a young man who moves to the exotic city of Edda, together with his family. As he tries to establish himself, the city witnesses inexplicable changes in its climatic condition, triggering the beginning of something strange, as if it were an Armageddon.
And already in its launch month, it has already been confirmed a success, being among the most-watched in England (at the time, only data from some countries were released to the public):
Despite not being very successful among critics, Netflix once again showed that the public is in charge of its renovations: just give an audience.
Is it renewed for the 2nd season?
Yes. Back in March, Netflix announced that Ragnarok was officially renewed. The announcement was made through their social networks.
The Release Date Of Ragnarok Season 2
Initially, the forecast for the launch of the second season would be for the beginning of 2021, since the first episode of the series aired in January 2020. However, due to the stoppages due to the current pandemic, everything indicates that all the releases of Netflix, including Ragnarok, will be delayed.
It has also not been confirmed when the recordings will begin.

The Plot Of Ragnarok Season 2
At the end of the first season, Magne (or Thor) and Vidar finally fought, in an epic battle. Just when it looked like the Giant would win, Magne summoned lightning, which ended the fight and maybe Vidar’s life too.
The second season is likely to pit Magne against the remaining giants, further developing her great powers.
