Pose Season 3

The writers stated that it had been their very first objective whilst writing for the next season. Executive manufacturer and co-writer of this show stated at a press conference, “We weren’t interested in only telling a story regarding the injury. The ballroom is a representation of what it means to congregate and share to appreciate each other. And our series is a celebration of the regular intimacies.”

The man that began to rust in Elektra’s apartment was a client whom she left overnight when she left work as BDSM Mistress. She came back later only to find him dead due to a drug overdose. She knew that if the authorities found out about it, they will not spare her so she hid the body in her back in her cupboard. This is sort of based on a true story of a drag performer, Dorian Correy. A mummified body was discovered in her trunk after her death which is believed to function as Robert Worley. As the theory suggests, Worley assaulted Correy equally as an abusive partner or using an attempt to rob to which Correy defended, and Worley got killed in the process. Back then Correy too concealed the body like Elektra and never let the truth out until her departure.

However, in the show, the Evangelista family aided Elektra out and threw the body from the sea. Thus, which makes it impossible for anyone to find out anything about it. This way they also feel somewhat relieved to be able to help Elektra in a way as a return gift for the sacrifices she had made for them during her lifetime.

Dominique Jackson who’s played the role of Elektra compliments the personality very much for her strength and dare to fight in life. She says she enjoyed every minute of playing the personality and felt that new energy flowing.
