Paava Kadhaigal release date, and everything we know so far

Netflix launched the Tamil video’s latest anthology film, Paava Kadhaigal trailer. It will go on the screen to hit its site this 18th December. It is directed by Sudha Kongara, Vignesh Shivan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Vetrimaaran. Paava Kadhaigal observes how passion, pride, and honor affect close bonds through four complex and beautiful storylines.

Plot of Paava Kadhaigal

Going by trailer, the creators have made a darker film about the horrible behavior which people in the name of respect are ready to commit. But family objections to a connection, like past films, are not based purely on caste and faith. “Each story collects tragic events from all over the world. It explains how pride impacts genuine relationships on a social and emotional basis. I look forward to this story to come out to a worldwide audience and relating to them, one way or the other,” Vetrimaaran told Paava Kadhaigal to lead Our Iravu.

Cast of Paava Kadhaigal

Paava Kadhaigal cast includes Simran, Anjali, Kalki Koechlin, Kalidas Jayaram, Shantanu Bhagyaraj, Prakashraj, Sai Pallavi, Bhavani Sre, and Gautham Vasudev Menon himself.

“This film was a learning experience for me. It was something entirely different that I was using to direct myself. It is amazing that the storyline is on-view to audiences across the globe, a real tale that really exists in the world,” says the filmmaker.

Also, for the anthology film, Paava Kadhaigal of Netflix Vetri Maaran was invited to take two reasons. “I wouldn’t have to tell him a love story to have a young unmarried or married male hero,” as the National Film Award-winning director put it.

Director’s words about the film

Sudha Kongara says, ‘To explore every experience of unconventional, uncompromising and unconditional love in this anthology. It’s awesome, also this fantastic story can reach for viewers, in India, and in the world in Netflix”

Vetrimaaran spoke of his partnership and said, “Once I could concentrate on the story I wanted, I enjoyed doing this anthology along with Netflix. I have been able to live the independence of film with Paava Kadhaigal.”

Vignesh Shivan said: “Netflix and his writing have always been a big fan. In addition to three reputable directors who believe in your story. It is a wonderful opportunity as a filmmaker where you can tell your stories to a diverse audience.

Therefore, this film investigates the bleak, sometimes agonizing nature of human relationships, with many thinking terrified of vocalizing.”

Four famous Tamil movie makers are also announced here on Netflix. The latest project naming “Victim” is being met-by Venkat Prabhu, Pa Ranjith, Mr. Rajesh, and Chimbu Devan.

The company also released an anthology produced in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam by Ace director Mani Ratnam titled Navarasa, a nine-part anthology collection. We will be back soon with many more updates.
